sherlock & vicki

Sherlock’s face during this entire scene was priceless.

If I don’t reblog Vicky I’m probably dead.

I love how, at every turn, Sherlock is thrown, even if just for a moment, by Vicki’s answers.  He knows that somehow she fits the pattern, but she’s challenging all of his immediate perceptions of what the pattern is.  She’s not, by her exterior, immediately deduce-able (though I imagine after a half second of thought Sherlock’s response is always, “Oh, yes, obvious.”  I love that this woman is presented on the surface as older (and still single, oh the horror!), with wrinkles and roots showing, working a “menial” job as a maid, and not only is she the kinkiest and perhaps most self-analytical woman in the bunch (I STILL want to hear all 10 of her Ideal Man criteria) but also the outlier and the continual wrench in each of Sherlock’s theories.

I will never not want to know more, see more and hear more from Vicki.

I would like a whole show about Vicki plzkthx.

Martin Freeman on Whether Sherlock Will Leave John and Mary Alone to be Happily Married

becks28nz:

"Presumably not.  It’s the tensions within those characters that make the show.  Now that Mary is very much part of the setup, that can’t be a happy, or rather a straightforward, thing.  Without the tension between John and Sherlock there is no show.  So no, it won’t be un-rocky"

SNAPE WEEK | Day 6: Most Heartbreaking Moment

Look…at…me…" he whispered. The green eyes found the black, but after a second, something in the depths of the dark pair seemed to vanish, leaving them fixed, blank, and empty. The hand holding Harry thudded to the floor, and Snape moved no more.”

The Avengers. That’s what we call ourselves. We’re sort of like a team. «Earth’s mightiest heroes» -type thing.

He was tall as a young tree, lithe, immensely strong, able swiftly to draw a great war-bow and shoot down a Nazgûl, endowed with the tremendous vitality of Elvish bodies, so hard and resistant to hurt that he went only in light shoes over rock or through snow, the most tireless of all the Fellowship.
